Khufu Boats

Solar boats were wooden boats made of cedar wood, they were found disassembled. The first one who called them solar boats was the journalist “Kamal al-Malakh“. The archaeologists varied about its name and, as its uses, it was probably a funerary boat made from 5000 years ago in 2800 BC when King Khufu, the king of Egypt, died.

His body was mummified and the funerary ceremony was performed.

His body was placed on these boats with the priests to visit Helioules, Saiss and others before his burial.

And then these boats moved to the royal cemetery in Giza where he was buried in the Great Pyramid, then these boats dissociated and buried in a hole south of the pyramid and the name of King Khufu put on it, Is its real name solar boats or Khufu boats?!
